A BILL making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out of
the treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated balance in the state fund, general revenue, to
the department of agriculture, fund 0131, fiscal year 2002,
organization 1400, all supplementing and amending the
appropriation for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, two thousand two.
WHEREAS, The governor submitted to the Legislature a statement
of the state fund, general revenue, dated September 10, 2001,
setting forth therein the cash balance as of July 1, 2001; and
further included the estimate of revenues for the fiscal year 2002,
less net appropriation balances forwarded and regular
appropriations for fiscal year 2002; and
WHEREAS, It appears from the governor's statement there now remains an unappropriated balance which is available for
appropriation during the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, two thousand two; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, two thousand two, to fund 0131, fiscal year
2002, organization 1400, be amended and increased in the line items
as follows:

The purpose of this supplementary appropriation bill is to
supplement this account in the budget act for the fiscal year
ending the thirtieth day of June, two thousand two, by increasing
the existing item of appropriation for personal services by thirty thousand dollars; and by increasing the existing item of
appropriation for employee benefits by fifteen thousand dollars,
for expenditure during the fiscal year two thousand two.
